Abstract

Studies carried out in recent years in western Chubut, and precisely in the area located between meridians 70 ° and 71 ° and parallels 43 ° and 44 °, have led to the discovery of a powerful sedimentary series largely of origin marine and with several interealated glacial horizons, which by its fossils is referred as a whole to the lower section of the Gondwana system.
