Abstract

The Upper Cretaceous (Senonien) sediments of the atlantic coast of Tierra del Fuego belong to the Río Claro Series, and from the lithologic and faunistic point of view they are constitued by the Policarpo Group (Campanian Age), Leticia Group (Maestritchian Age), and Río Bueno Group with a Lahilla luisa fauna (Danian Age), the last two members being separated by au unconformity. In this paper are described 42 species, of which 1 genus and 13 species are news. Typically Senonien faunas, inclues elements founded in the Upper Cretaceous of the Antarctic Region (Seymour Is., Snow Hill Is.) and Cazador Mt. in Patagonia.
